Peppe Cotto wins Coppa for Italy

Our butcher of choice in Le Marche, Peppe Cotto, has sent us this great photo of him raising the ‘World Coppa’, as the 2010 World Cup in South Africa arrives at the quarter finals. Famous for his choice meat ‘scudo’ or Piceni shield and lard sculptures, Peppe’s shop can be found in the historical center of Loro Piceno, province of Macerata. The news that McDonald’s Italia will be offering a limited range of products made from Italian regional DOP food products is interesting news.
