There seemed to be a need for a group on LinkedIn for a place where corporate travel, meeting and incentive planners based outside Italy could interact with skilled Destination Management (DMC) professionals across the Italian regions. So we set it up ourselves!
The objective is to help the best Destination Management Companies and individual consultants in Italy connect with planners, event organisers and in-house meeting and event executives based abroad.
As well as individual incoming Italy travel professionals, we are encouraging Italian hotels and tour operators who offer MICE services to join the group. For companies and individuals based outside of Italy, requests and messages are welcome, but should be kept strictly on theme.
Linkedin offers a closed group setting, but we decided want to keep our group open. Nevertheless, there has to be some rules, so we are reserving the right to remove inappropriate comment and off message group memberships.
